Monthly: The Softening- a Sunday Somatic Reset with Annie Hackwell

A Monthly Sunday Somatic Ritual
This is a 90-minute immersive journey designed to help you soften, unwind, and come back into your body — just in time for the week ahead.
Blending somatic practices including movement, chakra meditation, breathwork, and subtle body awareness, this session invites you to gently release held tension from the physical body and nervous system while restoring a sense of inner alignment and calm.
Using embodied, wave-like movements and guided breath, we work through the body from root to crown — not to “activate” or force change, but to listen, integrate, and reorganise from within. Immersive headphones for part of the session create a cocooned, inward-focused experience, allowing you to drop beneath the noise of everyday life and into deeper sensation and presence.
This is a slow, nourishing practice rooted in trauma-informed somatic work. Everything is invitational. You are always in choice. Rest is welcome.
You’ll leave feeling grounded, spacious, and quietly resourced — more in your body, more in yourself, and more prepared for whatever the coming week holds.

Menopause Restore: 5 Week Course with Sarah Elcome
Monday 13th April- 11th May/ 7.30pm-8.30pm/ £60 for full course or £14 drop in
Menopause Restore is for women in midlife who suffer with emotional or physical symptoms of menopause.
This is a warm invitation to reconnect to your breath and your body with slow intentional channel led movement and breath practices, finishing with a guided meditation. This is time for you, to go in, go slow and create space to arrive home to you.
Throughout the series we will be focusing on the restorative power of our Inner Winter and nourishing our kidney energy and adrenal health, the foundational organs of the menopause transition.
Each week we will cover differing themes of menopause, such as:
Grounding our Earth Element energies for nurturing self care
Softening our Metal Element energy to aid grief and the process of letting go
Restore our Water Element energy for recovery and rest
Awaken into emergence with our Wood Element for mindful energy use
Opening to loving kindness with the Fire Element energy to melt into self love
Course Includes:
Breath practices, mindful movement, channel tapping, hands on touch, short guided meditation
You Will Feel:

No yoga experience is required. This class is inclusive of perimenopause, menopause and post menopause.

A Nervous-System– Led Journey Back to Inner Safety
This monthly Kundalini Yoga Experience is a gentle yet powerful space to reconnect with your body, breath, and inner awareness.
Designed especially for those who feel constantly on, overwhelmed or disconnected from themselves, this class focuses on nervous system regulation rather than performance or intensity. Through conscious breathing, simple movements, meditation and deep relaxation, you’ll be guided to soften out of survival mode and return to a felt sense of safety within.
This is not about pushing, forcing or doing more. It is an invitation to listen, slow down, and allow your body to recalibrate naturally.
Each session offers a different experiential theme, supporting emotional release, embodied awareness, and a deeper connection to your inner rhythm. No prior Kundalini Yoga experience is needed- just a willingness to meet yourself with honesty and compassion.
This class also serves as an entry point for those curious to explore deeper workshops and longer-form journeys into self-awareness, nervous system healing, and conscious living.

From the Heart- Monthly Mantra Sessions with Abi Tunbridge
Sunday 26th April/ 7pm-8.30pm/ £20
A warm and intimate evening of sacred song, sound and stillness.
Mantras are sacred sounds, words and phrases that are sung in repetition. They help calm the mind, open the heart, and nurture our connection to ourselves and others as we invoke the energy of the mantra. The vibration of mantra naturally slows our breath, soothes our nervous system, and draws our attention inward.
Repeated in a steady rhythm, the mantra becomes an anchor to return to. It draws us into presence, where we can notice the subtle sensations that live within - the hum in your chest, the warmth in your throat, a vibration beneath the skin. It’s less about how it sounds and more about how the mantra moves through the body.
Over the session we’ll explore mantra, moving gently between sound and stillness, and sharing presence, warmth, and tea. As we chant together, our voices create a shared rhythm, guiding us into the cave of our hearts.
Join as you are – no singing experience needed.

Sound Bath with Janet Holt
Sunday 17th May / 6.45pm-7.45pm/ £15
I’m Janet and I’ve been hosting relaxing soundbaths for about 5years. I was trained by the British Academy of Sound Therapy and follow their method which has been scientifically proven to induce pure relaxation. Playing Himalayan and Crystal singing bowls bowls, gong and gentle therapeutic percussion you’ll be taken from your everyday waking brain state to a place of stillness, calm and peace. So come along and spend an hour just for you as you are.
Shake the Dust with Moira
Sunday 30th May / 2.00pm-3.30pm/ £25
Led by Moira from New thoughts, New Feeling.
Shake the Dust is more than just a workout- it’s a transformative, embodied practice of the body, heart, mind and a form of activism through movement.
Each session invites you to shake off what no longer serves, personally and collectively, and to reclaim your body as a powerful tool for change. Guided by a poetic theme and an epic playlist, we move together through waves of shaking, jumping, resting, dancing, intuitive flow, plus elements of yoga, Pilates, somatics and bodyweight strength work.
This is a space where movement becomes a statement, where you can sweat, release and build a resilient body while also grounding into the values and vision for a better world. This is a practice for ALL.
Whether you’re a yogi, a seeker or simply ready to move with purpose, Shake the Dust is your invitation to take up space, break patterns, and come alive.
